Politics Uk is a facebook page that provides a place for adult and rational discussion by people from all walks of life from all social strata, and all political sides.
It provides a unique and friendly and user safe environment and encourages those not so used to political commentary to become involved.

www.facebook.com/PoliticsUk is a political and societal debating site which has no political views of its own but encourages the views of others. It provides an online facility for adult and rational discussion by people from all social strata and all political persuasions.

The site creates a welcoming and friendly, user-safe community environment and encourages those unused to political commentary to develop their political viewpoints through discussion and exchanging of ideas and knowledge with other members. The site  is moderated to protect its members and to provide dynamic debate and has regular, established bloggers and affiliate group sites.

Politics UK was created in April 2011. A community of like minded political debaters had researched other Facebook political sites, including a 300,000 member site  that was at the time known as a government organisation for political discussion on Facebook.   It was discovered that sites like this one and others on Facebook had a very random appeal, with random membership and random comments.  There was little or no cohesive debate and no sense of community. On the slow death of the FB government organisation site, a small group of survivors emerged, determined to create a nucleus of reasoned and seasoned debaters for a new political debating site. Politics UK was born!

The site has grown incredibly fast over the past eight  months with a solid and reliable administration team, an increasing membership list and a solid strategy for discussing and debating issues that affect the UK and beyond. A healthy balance of political support for all parties is encouraged and supported and the site is fast gaining media and general widespread acceptance for its professional debating method of operation, its fairness, its friendly welcoming stance to new members, experienced and inexperienced and its adherence to a structured team of strategists and moderators who are committed to making the site grow even larger.

BREAKING NEWS! – Be the Solution!

PoliticsUK now has a dedicated website called www.simplysociety.com  This site has been set up to make a real and positive change to the way the UK performs politically and to formulate real working solutions to real problems that we face every day in the UK.

To do this ‘The National Debate’ (weblink) has 2 primary functions:

·         To identify and isolate the problem through discussion and extensive research

·         To then formulate practical solutions to these problems.

The goal is simple and ambitious.

On every issue debated, we intend to do comparative research, hold debates with the general public and bring in professionals of their field to give their advice and experience. We welcome all; from the political activist to the intellectual to people with personal experience and opinions.

This will be conducted in a sincere and profound effort to really get to the crux of the issues being debated. The solutions to those will be formulated through cross referencing and research from the debate itself. All solutions will be presented in their entirety to all interested parties and to all interested organisations who can use the solutions in an effective way. The internet is a profoundly powerful tool for communication. We invite you to get involved – Be the Solution!
