THE WORLD

VOICE OF A
CITIZEN:
Written
by a regular contributor of PoliticsUK. 'There are a number
of motivations I have for blogging; primarily I want to
share my thoughts and opinions. However, just as important
to me is to incite debate amongst readers over issues that
have far reaching or trivial importance – so whatever your
opinions, wherever you stand on an issue please feel free to
comment; that’s the purpose of my blog and without your
contribution my blog will surely be the voice of a citizen
‘lost in the crowd’ |

Founded and Edited by a Politics UK Mod/Contributor:
'We aim as a site to reflect the growing impact of
globalisation; the increased impact of International movements and a shared humanity. We are a politically Non-Aligned site; welcoming ...good quality articles from all writers regardless of their background and views as long as they are in line with our terms. We have a particular focus on Politics and Culture in the World, however, all contributions are welcome – no voice will be left unheard.' |

HEX
VIEW:
My
views on the world and its issues are formed from informed
opinions over years; yet I try to have enough humility to
change them if someone can convince me of alternatives. I
have a fairly large er.. personality but its usually
benevolent. I try to look at the bigger picture, to ‘think
outside the box’ and to get to the core of issues that
affect us in the United Kingdom and in the world in general.
I take an anthropological, sometimes spiritual and usually
idealistic angle to life. |

My
name is Robert Battison. I’m the founder of the Democratic
Reform Party and a founding member of the Democratic
Reform Movement (both separate of one another; although
the former is a member of the latter). I’ve dabbled with
teaching, sales and pensions; and worked with Labour and the
Lib Dems when I was younger. But my heart is in the three
things with which I’m involved at present: writing, a new
politics, and academia. |

BRITISHREPUBLICBLOG:
This blog is run by a group of
dedicated British Republicans. However, although we support Republic,
the organisation that campaigns for a Democratically elected Head of
State in Britain, it is totally independent, both editorially and
financially, from Republic. |

POLITICSUK: The Game
Not a blog, a game
Unsure as to where to place this on the page. PoliticsUK has nothing
to do with this page. It is a game which has been running for 10+
years and essentually puts you in charge of the UK government. |

Well here it is: Simpol
in a nutshell: Simpol stands for
the Simultaneous Policy. The policy actually means many policies,
each of which would be acted on simultaneously by all or sufficient
nations. They are the policies needed to deal with climate change,
global poverty, corporate power and other global problems; policies
which, if implemented by any nation alone, would harm its economy
and its people. By implementing policies simultaneously, no nation,
corporation or citizen need lose out and everybody wins. |
